Cost Management Project Management

In this project we provide multidisciplinary services over ten years to deliver more than 2,000 new homes. We ensure delivery is high-quality and on-budget through comprehensive management, collaboration and cost control.

Long term sustainable partnerships add value to each site and phase of works.

EDGE provides services for all six phases of this joint venture from Sheffield Council, Keepmoat Homes and Great Places Housing Group.

Our approach includes working closely with the client to analyse the viability of each site.

This meant that each phase has been delivered to the client’s high aspirations and within the affordability parameters driven by house values.

In our retained role, we are in continuous dialogue with the design team and contractor to achieve on-budget delivery while maintaining quality.

We enhanced value for money and customer experience on this project through continuous improvement.

After the completion of phase three, in which over 1,000 homes were delivered on nine sites, the team conducted a detailed project appraisal.

This pinpointed the most viable and profitable house types, through cost appraisal and liaison with the sales team.

We also led a house type review to identify more economical construction methods and areas for improvement across buildability, cost and experience.

Together with best practices and benchmarking data, these findings helped us to elevate the next project phases.
